Even though you’re not on campus, you’ll still receive top support and assistance.

From day one all the way through to graduation, we’re always happy to help.

The admissions process

If you’re thinking of applying for one of our courses, it’s our friendly Admissions team you’ll be speaking with first. They’re available to answer any questions you may have about our courses, your application, entry requirements, funding your studies, or any other issues. From the first time you contact us, you’ll be assigned an admissions adviser who’ll be your key contact throughout the admissions process – so there’s no explaining yourself repeatedly or having to resend documents.

Your Student Support team

You’ll be supported throughout your studies by a dedicated Student Support team. Student advisers will be on-hand to help you right from the beginning with your induction, and continue to support and guide you throughout your studies.

Academic support

During each module, you’ll be able to rely on your module tutors to provide any academic support you need. In particular, you’ll be in contact with your tutor for:

  • discussion board participation
  • live question and answer sessions
  • feedback on coursework
  • responding to your questions by phone and/or email
  • regular virtual office hours

For students completing a final project or dissertation, you’ll be assigned a supervisor during that particular module. They’ll be available to support you throughout your project and provide feedback and academic assistance.

Study Skills

Alongside the Student Support team and module tutors, you’ll also have access to support from the Study Skills team. From referencing, using the library and structuring an essay, to planning your assignments and time management, they’re available to help you build up your academic skills alongside your course content. The team is available by email or phone, or you can arrange a one-to-one session to discuss your concerns in more detail.

IT support

It’s essential to us that you can access our online learning facilities at all times! If you have any technical issues, please contact the IT support team by phone or email.

Disability support

We aim to make all our courses as accessible as possible. In order for us to best support you, please make us aware of any disabilities or learning difficulties that you have during the admissions process. We’ll then assess your needs and work with you to consider any further support we can offer. We’ll also be able to advise you on any funding that may be available.
