It’s clear that plagiarism is a significant issue, with severe consequences for students that get caught. Universities take fraud very seriously, and are constantly improving their detection techniques and developing even more sophisticated technology to catch non-genuine submissions.
But even though it’s a vital academic concept, a huge number of students still struggle to define plagiarism and many commit it by accident.
