The National Student Survey (NSS) 2016, a high-profile census completed by over 86% of all final-year UK undergraduate students1, has given online education provider University of Essex Online a score of 90% for overall student satisfaction.
This places the University of Essex Online in the national top 10 for overall student satisfaction out of all English mainstream universities*.
The survey is conducted by HEFCE (the Higher Education Funding Council for England) and measures various aspects of each course through multiple-choice questions and student comments. Since 2005, over 2.5 million students2 have taken part, encompassing a total of 358 universities, colleges and alternative providers.
The average overall satisfaction score for 2016 stands at 85%, with the University of Essex Online’s result of 90% putting the provider in an extremely strong position.
