University of Essex Online ranked one of the top higher education providers in England for student satisfaction

The National Student Survey (NSS), a high-profile census of nearly half a million UK students and 325 institutions, released its 2015 results earlier this week and has ranked online education provider University of Essex Online as one of the top in the UK with 95% overall student satisfaction.

The highest ranked universities in the poll also earned 95%.

The NSS is an independent and widely-recognised annual student census completed by students at all publicly-funded Higher Education Institutions in the UK. The survey measures various aspects of each course through multiple-choice questions and student comments.

University of Essex Online provide online undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses to both UK and international students.

The breakdown of this result shows that students also rated all the specific areas of their experience very highly, with ‘assessment and feedback’, ‘organisation and management’ and ‘academic support’ receiving satisfaction results at least 10% higher than the sector average.
