This short CertCE Business Psychology course introduces the scientific understanding of the mind, brain, behaviour and experience*. You’ll also be presented with different perspectives, promoting an appreciation of the real-life applications of business psychology. Finally, you’ll also use specific business-related issues within the context of cross-functional modules that develop communications, presentation, writing, analytical and critical-thinking skills. With an indicative study duration of just 8 months, this programme can be completed as a stand-alone qualification or used as a stepping stone towards our full BSc (Hons) Business Psychology degree.
After this programme, you’ll have an appreciation of the scientific and theoretical underpinnings of business psychology including its historical origins, progression and limitations. You’ll also develop an awareness of the variability and diversity of psychological functioning and its significance within a business context.
In addition to the subject-specific knowledge that you’ll gain, you will also develop a wide range of transferable, career-related skills including the ability to evaluate evidence, identify patterns of behaviour and how to confidently communicate and discuss issues in a professional environment.
