University of Essex Online has achieved an incredible score of 95% for overall student satisfaction in the 2021 National Student Survey (NSS).
This result places us at the top for overall student satisfaction when compared to UK universities, well above the national average of 75%.
The NSS is an annual survey giving students an opportunity to give honest feedback about their experiences of studying at their university or college. Nearly half a million undergraduate students across the UK are invited to take part each year.
The result of 95% overall student satisfaction is an indication of the outstanding quality of student support provided by University of Essex Online.
The survey results further demonstrate the quality of education provision we provide:
- 97% agreed that their course is well organised and running smoothly
- 97% agreed that our staff are good at explaining things
- 95% agreed that their course has provided them with opportunities to bring information and ideas together from different topics
David Dixon, Academic Director, said “At University of Essex Online we pride ourselves on the quality of our academic and pastoral support. We’re delighted to have received a fantastic score of 95% overall satisfaction in this year’s NSS.”
“It is a testament to both our academic and student services teams that our students have overwhelmingly complimented the organisation and delivery of our fully online degree courses.”
“I’d like to congratulate everyone involved. We’ll be striving to increase the satisfaction of our students even further in the coming years.”
