A university education is one of the biggest and best investments you’ll make.
We’re pleased to be able to offer the following tuition fee discounts and scholarships for our online courses.
Alumni discount
If you’re a previous graduate with the University of Essex or University of Essex Online, we’ll award you a 10% alumni discount on your postgraduate tuition fees when you continue your studies to Masters level.
This is only applicable if you’re studying online and doesn’t apply to studying on campus.
The alumni discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or scholarship.
Corporate discount
If your organisation has three or more employees, or you’re a not-for-profit organisation, you may be eligible to join our corporate partner list. Becoming a corporate partner entitles you and your employees to a 10% tuition fee discount.
This is only applicable if you’re studying online and doesn’t apply if you’re studying on campus.
The corporate discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or scholarship.
Scholarships
Global Scholarship
International students residing in specific regions outside the UK may be eligible for a Global Scholarship of up to 15%.
If eligible, you don’t need to complete a separate scholarship application form; it’ll be applied once you’ve received your official offer letter.
ELCAS funding for members of the Armed Forces
We’re an approved provider for the Ministry of Defence Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme (ELCAS). If you’re a current or former member of the UK armed forces then you may qualify for this assistance. If you’re considering, or have gained ELCAS funding, please mention this to our Admissions Team when you make your application.
Public health funding
If you’re based in the UK, you may also be able to access funding from external sources to contribute towards your tuition fees. This Health Careers website contains some resources you can look into.
If you aren’t based in the UK, public health organisations in your home country may be able to offer support or direct you to sources of funding opportunities. To learn more, visit the Public Health and World Bank sites.
