My advice to anyone considering an online professional course would be to take the step and begin your studies!

I’ve spent many years working in customer service and I now work in the Admissions department at a university. I’ve recently been promoted to a management position and was looking for a programme to further my professional development. The enrolment process was really straightforward – the online form was simple and I was contacted by the Admissions team soon after.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the programme so far! The material and content have already been beneficial to my role. The module tutor has been a great support and I’m looking forward to progressing! I hope that by completing this module I’ll gain valuable skills that will allow me to progress in my current role and organisation.

It’s easy to tailor your studying to your schedule. The knowledge gained is so beneficial and the collaborative learning of discussion forums is really rewarding.

The course has its challenges, but I've learnt so much in both my professional and personal life. If it wasn’t for the course and the supportive tutors I've come across, I'd never have applied for my new role.

After completing the module, I hope to teach additional public health courses to undergraduate students within the academic setting.

At the time of starting the BA, I was 18 years old, and in my last year of college. It would have been really tough to access a campus-based university over an online study option.
